Beyond Good 70% dark chocolate
$7.00
Like all the things, chocolate has gotten expensive. The cacao market is soaring (which means some cacao farmers might be making money for the first time if they're not stuck selling to Nestle and Hersheys), tariffs are plaguing us, and the specialty chocolate market is being inundated with people pretending to "know the producers," etc. I don't know this Beyond Good company, but I hope they're doing what they claim to be doing. Their website has links to bios of people they claim are producing cacao for them, which is pretty cool. This bar is produced in Madagascar, where the cacao is grown. One thing that drew me to this bar, in addition to their mission, is the fact that I LOVE Madagascar's chocolate profile. It's fruity and complex like a natural Sidama. Get this one, and try out our other bars from David De Olier.
