- Consistently throughout the years, Priscilla and Ivan have produced the best coffees we sell. If there is a sweet spot for coffee in Latin America, it’s Panama. Farms located around the perimeter of Volcán Barú are famous in the specialty coffee industry, and largely sell all their coffee to Asia (and now the Middle East). We have cultivated a friendship with the owners of Bambito Estate since 2019, and their coffee is always a contender for the the holidays featured coffee. So consider this coffee experience a holiday, regardless. The cost of procuring coffee from Panama is always a bit frightening, and the recent surge in prices, tariffs, and demand have pushed prices even higher. Is it worth it? Don’t be ridiculous. If you like naturals, you have to add this to your rotation. It’s fantastic. (This is the coffee I served after my mother's funeral services. I canceled my trip to Panama at the last minute to spend time with my mom in her last week. Priscilla was very understanding and sent prayers to my mother through mass. It's a coffee fit for such a momentous occasion)
