Sumatra Ketiara Adsenia

  • Located in the Aceh province of Sumatra, this coffee is the product of small, family farms and is processed at a cooperative mill called Ketiara. The coffee variety is one colloquially called TimTim, and is a very old variety of the Timor Hybrid, a natural hybrid of an arabica and robusta plant that occurred on the island of Timor which was discovered in the 1920s. This disease resistant plant produces coffee that packs a punch, with big, bold aromatics that pair very well (in my opinion) with meats. So if you're looking for a hearty breakfast coffee that will stand up to your bacon, or you like to drink coffee with dinner, this is your guy. **I recommend a cup around two in the afternoon with some teriyaki beef jerky.**
