Mexico GRAPOS Siltepec

  • You love coffees from Mexico. Maybe it's because so many people go on vacation in Mexico and carry with them fond memories. But coffee from the southern Chiapas region of the country can be very good. This one is from an area that has suffered from the socio-political problems well-known in Chiapas. But a group formed to help these smallholder farmers. GRAPOS is an acronym that translates to Group of Advisors of Organic and Sustainable Production. The group helps the farmers improve the quality of production and to access markets to sell that coffee. Me? I just like drinking it. Oh, to be on the beach in Cancun right now.
