Every year at Hacienda El Boton, a new lot of Maduro is harvested from the top of the mountain, sorted, and dried in the Colombian sun. Every single lot is different and each year we get to taste what amazing aromatics were revealed from minute changes in weather and drying times, maturity as the trees age, and the human refinements in selecting the perfect fruit and transforming it into dried seed. This lot is effervescent with fresh fruit fragrances, softening in the cup and then rearing its head in the finish.
