Ethiopia Gedeb Natural

  • You know how every once in a while you have a coffee that just delights you in unexpected ways? That's how I feel about this Gedeb. You expect it to be fruity, but it's actually quite subtle, smooth. It sneaks up on you like a refreshing breeze in the wilderness. It's one of those coffees that you can linger over, smelling rather than drinking, because the perfume emanating from the cup is beautiful. This coffee is the sister to our washed Gedeb, from a region bordering the Yirgacheffe zone. I could drink this coffee every day (and, in fact I do). [The picture is one I borrowed from the broker who sold me this coffee, Balzac Brothers. Thanks Ricky!]
