Colombia Dos Quebradas

  • Daimes Polanía is the owner of Finca Dos Quebradas, named for the two spring-fed creeks that run through the farm. Daimes worked hard picking coffee in Colombia and then growing fruits and vegetables on a farm in Spain, saving his money to buy the land where he lives and works today. The farm is located in a remote area in the department of Huila. Daimes’ family ended up here during “La Violencia” after his grandfather was killed in the civil war and his father fled to the seclusion of the mountains near the town of Palermo. This coffee is clean and rich from the microclimate of the farm and the careful cultivation by the farmers. This is one of the best washed Colombian coffees I’ve had in a long time.
