Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Koke natural

  • Centuries ago, coffee was first discovered in Ethiopia, allegedly by a flock of goats whose goatherd recognized the tasty fruit as having a stimulant effect. Today coffee is cultivated widely in Ethiopian gardens, renowned for its superb taste. If you are ever in a place you’re unfamiliar with, at a coffee shop whose coffee might not be the best, order the Yirgacheffe if that’s an option. This is not that kind of place, but I still contend that these coffees, for whatever reason, are more forgiving and tend to be pretty good no matter what. This one is at least pretty good; a stellar example of what natural Yirgacheffe coffees should be, it brings a killer trifecta of aromatics that Kaldi’s goats would faint over.
