Costa Rica Miramonte H1H

  • Hacienda Miramonte has a long, rich history in the Naranjo region of central Costa Rica. Started in 1917 by a woman named Lucila, the farm is run today her great grandson, Ricardo and his daughter, Viviana Gurdian. This particular coffee is a variety called centroamericano, which is referred to as H1 colloquially. This is a new type of coffee derived from the regionally famous Villa Sarchi variety. At Miramonte, they’ve worked very hard to build the facilities and knowledge to produce an exceptional honey process. The perfect conditions for this coffee brought out a lot of sweet-and-sour flavors from the H1 that commingle in the cup.
