The weekend after this one (don't forget to come out to Tulsa Tough bike races THIS weekend) is the 25th running of the Tulsa Triathlon.
It's a 1.5k swim, 40k bike, and 10k run. Swim, bike, run.
I'm one of the race directors this year, and I'm expecting it to be a really fun race. Free coffee. (And free beer.)
You don't even have to participate in the race to come hang out at Skiatook Lake and enjoy the festivities.
I'm looking for volunteers to help out with the race.
It's Sunday, June 10. The race starts at 8a.
If you want to volunteer, you should be there between 630 and 7a. You'll get a free tshirt, food, and drinks.
If you're interested, email me: Brian@DoubleShotCoffee.com

If you want to register for the race or just learn more about it (Lance did this race once), you can look at the new website: www.TulsaTri.com

The DoubleShot will be SHUT this Saturday (and Sunday, as is the new custom). This Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday you can get your espresso at the races. That's right, I'll be hauling the Marzocco downtown to the bike races. You can read all about the Tulsa Tough rides and races on their website: www.TulsaTough.com.

I spent all weekend last year watching the crits, and it was a lot of fun. So you should come out. Watch some racers. Drink some coffee.

The espresso today is unbelievable. It's outstanding. New crop La Minita came in, and it's just as chocolatey as it was when I cupped it in Costa Rica. It's one of the highlights in my espresso, and it is ridiculous. So good.

I fully intend to blog about California, the SCAA Conference, San Francisco, and whatever else, so be patient with me.

The new DoubleShot website is up and running. I know there are some bugs- even with the podcast, and sometimes with this blog- and I am working them out. Don't you worry. All will be well with the site soon.

Right now, I just wanted to say how much the espresso rocks. So happy to be home to my own coffee.
