Hey Brian,
I just heard from a friend of mine about this ridiculous mess, and well, that's what it is: ridiculous.
I worked throughout college at an indy shop in Stillwater called The Third Place. Honestly, I normally work out of Panera over on Cherry Street (self-employed), but after hearing about this, you guys will definately be getting my business.
