The Origin
The origin of coffee. The places where people plant, nurture, pick, and process the coffee. These are the places and people that give coffee its unique flavor. The flavor I’m so careful to accentuate in the roast, and not destroy. Most of the time when I’m working with coffee, I’m thinking about the people who have given their lives for those very coffee beans. I’m grateful to them, and at the same time I wish I could do more to give them what (I feel) they deserve. Some of those people are my friends. So look at the pictures, read the stories, and enjoy the harvest that coffee farmers have worked so hard to provide for you. We should all give back, even if it’s just with our respect and honor.
